Pretty good food, not incredible but decent. Waiters were great though

This used to be a great spot. Fast, descent food.Now remodeled and bigger. Maybe they were purchased but it's a no go now. Super slow, dry and not very good food.felt like last week's leftovers.had to ask for any salsa which seems defacto for Mexican food.People are nice.

Good place to go after a hard bike ride. Burrito was made with fresh ingredients. And you can get a Mexican Coke

Seriously delicious. Breakfast burrito made my day, margarita felt great, and Ceasar took great care of our group! Beautiful dining area, big comfy table for a bunch of friends, and friendly, clean vibes all around. Grateful to have this right downtown, only a few blocks away from work and home, I'll be stopping by more often.

Everything we ordered was wonderful. Our kids, who have very different food preferences and can be hard to please, absolutely loved what they ordered. It was clean and our service was great. We are so happy we stumbled upon this gem!

The food was tasty, but the service was very slow. In addition, when coming to take our order (not before) they informed us they had no cheese. Frankly, I think that's unacceptable for a Mexican restaurant. Took 3 requests to get my water glass filled. But again, the food we did have was good tasting.

I enjoyed the carne asada tacos but I would have rated this establishment higher had the dish came with beans and rice. Also, most competition around here provides chips and salsa. Overall the flavors we're excellent and the hot sauces tasted amazing.

I honestly don’t know how this place has any stars. What a horrible excuse for Mexican food. The rice was brown rice, the tortillas for their burritos weren’t even browned, the meat was like rubber, and the service was crappy. They don’t even give chips and salsa. From the moment we walked in to the end we were talked to maybe 3 times. It’s overpriced for the quality of food they are serving. I never write bad reviews just because I know how tough it can be for servers and restaurants..but this was beyond a bad experience. It wasn’t that she was rude/she just didn’t care at all. We will not be back.

I arrive at 9pm on a friday night, all websites, yelp show they are open till 10pm. All doors are locked, staff inside drinking away.

This food is so good I got lengua burito and churos (as seen in picture)I would recomend to anyone passing thru Jackson hole Wyoming. Sit out side if it is a nice warm summer day. And the service was speedy fast

The food is not as good as Sanchez (which is what it was before it got sold out). The service is slow and the prices are too high for the not so good quality and taste it provides.

We were in Jackson and hungry. Googled Mexican and saw this place and others. I am thrilled we ended up here. Merry Piglets was swamped, and the Hatch was booked. The food was authentic and delicious. Very basic however. BYOB. No inside seating. Soft drinks in a fridge. Free water. Would definitely eat here again.

Service is almost non-existent, food is high priced for nothing. Diners beware.

Horrible, all of it. The service should have turned us away to begin with when we walked in the door and the hostess said "We're pretty busy right now, so it may be a 30-45 min wait." then refused to take our names to be seated. So once we get inside (probably 85°) we weren't served chips & salsa till we brought attention to it, our waters were only refilled after our dinners were served, and my drink from the bar I ordered had likely no alcohol in it. The food was dry and took forever to be served although there were only maybe 10 other people in the restaurant. After getting the $44 bill brought to me, I had to hunt someone down to be able to pay it and get out of that place. It was a terrible experience and with how upscale Jackson Hole markets itself, I have no idea how this place stays in business. My hotel breakfast the next morning was so much better.

We enjoyed our time at San Juan Resturant! The owners, Maria and her husband are very sweet. The food was yummy! We had tacos, nachos, and good drinks! For desert we had churros. Let me just say they were the best churros we have ever eaten. So delicious, hot, crispy and super tasty! They have great outdoor patio seating too. A good resturant in downtown!

Margaritas are good but not worth $10 also felt like I was an inconvenience the entire time. The salsa was very liquidy but the chips were good. They are had lukewarm beer.

Chorizo tacos were great, but the other meat tacos we're pretty dry. We put the extra hot sauce all over them and are now spending the morning taking turns in the bathroom. Three stars because you can BYOB.

Great Mexican food!

A delightful surprise. Their salsa was just the right level of spice and flavor. I also really enjoyed the bean dip they brought out to compliment the salsa. The food was quick to be made and delivered. I really loved the new look of the restaurant, it gave a rustic feel while keeping it very homey. I think the only downside, is the same at a lot of places in Jackson, the service is sparatic because of lack of staff. The staff was very friendly and made the best of it. Overall, a nice quiet little bistro-style cantina.

Margaritas were great. Food was good. But it came out cold, we didn't have utensils until about 10 minutes after our food came out. It seemed like there was one only one waiter for the whole place, who was VERY overworked. Great spot, great patio, but wish the service was better.

Great food (especially in a town with a lot of good Mexican restaurants in town) and excellent service. Fresh ingredients. Love the guacamole, chicken enchiladas and Margs.

Great food and the portions were well worth the money. We felt that it was priced just right for what we got. The flavor of the food was excellent as well. They have a great Salsa. Way better than The Merry Piglets Mexican Grill.

We stopped in here at San Juan Mexican restaurant for dinner. It was just ok. The Waitress didn't seem very happy (expressionless) and expensive for what we had. Three chicken tacos no side and a chorizo jalapeno quesadilla with no side two soft drinks $37.00 plus tax. The tacos were on cold flour tortillas and the quesadilla wasn't even grilled. Won't be back.

Service is slow but the result is very good food. Highly recommend a Torta. It's like 2 meals..

Best Mexican food in Jackson! Awesome friendly service. Will be a regular from now on.
